Worcester Bosch is enormously popular among consumers and engineers in the UK, especially since the brand has won so many Which? awards. Its range includes energy efficient gas combi boilers, system boilers and regular boilers, as well as a selection of oil-fired boilers. No matter which boiler you choose, each model is backed by an industry leading guarantee. Thousands of reviews also tell us that Worcester Bosch is responsible for manufacturing some of the most reliable gas and oil boilers on the market today.

    About Worcester Bosch

Established in 1962, Worcester Bosch is a brand synonymous with quality and reliability. It is committed to the highest standards of manufacturing and has received the Which? Best Buy award seven years running. The brand is, in fact, the UK market leader in domestic boilers and has even supplied boilers to Her Majesty The Queen’s Sandringham Estate.

Worcester Bosch’s UK headquarters and gas boiler production facility are located in Worcester, and all of its oil boilers are manufactured in Derbyshire. Not only does the company offer gas and oil boilers but it also produces renewable technologies including heat pumps and solar water heating systems.

    Worcester Bosch Greenstar Boiler Range

As one of the UK’s most popular boiler brands, it comes as no surprise that Worcester Bosch has an award-winning range of boilers. The Greenstar range has, in fact, been awarded Which? Best Buy for 9 consecutive years. This means that these boilers stand out from the crowd and are considered some of the best and most reliable models on the market today.

Every Worcester Bosch Greenstar gas, oil-fired and LPG boiler is condensing and A-rated for efficiency, so you’re likely to save a decent amount on your fuel bills and reduce your carbon footprint if you swap your existing boiler for one of these fantastic models. Although the majority of Greenstar models are wall-mounted, there are some floor-standing and external boilers in the range as well. Boasting a varied selection of impressive models to suit virtually all homes and lifestyles, the Greenstar boiler range should not be overlooked.

Worcester Bosch Gas Combi Boiler Range – High Performance Models

As with all gas combi boilers, Worcester Bosch combi boilers produce heating and hot water on demand without the need for a cylinder or bulky tanks in the loft. This means that the following options are ideal for flats and houses with limited space.

Every model in the range is A-rated for efficiency and has a ‘keep hot’ function to ensure hot water is always available. The Greenstar Si Compact Combi is the cheapest gas combi of them all and has an ECO mode that can override the keep hot function to save energy – as does the Greenstar CDi Compact Combi. Other models include the Greenstar CDi Classic Combi and the Greenstar i Junior Combi, as well as the Greenstar Highflow CDi Combi with impressive hot water flow rates.

These boilers come in varying outputs from 24kW to 42kW and are backed by a 2 or 5-year warranty with options to upgrade. Prices range between £1,028.40 and £2,447.70, depending on your chosen model and power output.

Worcester Bosch Gas System Boiler Range – For Larger Heating and Hot Water Needs

Worcester Bosch’s gas system boilers require a separate cylinder for storing hot water, but this is a good thing as it means the appliance will be able to provide plenty of hot water to any number of taps at the same time.

Gas system models include the Greenstar i System and the Greenstar CDi Classic System, both compatible with Greenstore cylinders and Greenskies solar panels. If you need a lot of power, you could opt for the GB162 that can be used on its own or set up for multi-boiler operation (when multiple boilers are connected) to achieve a higher output.

The Worcester Bosch system boiler range has output options from 9kW to a huge 100kW, and each model comes with either a 2 or 5-year warranty. When it comes to price, you can expect to pay anything between £861.78 and £3,566.44.

Worcester Bosch Gas Regular Boiler Range – Compatible with Old Pipework and Radiators

Regular boilers are best for homes that currently have an old traditional boiler, along with tanks in the loft and a separate hot water cylinder. They come in outputs from 12kW to 42kW and are also good for households that tend to use a lot of hot water at once and dwellings in areas where water pressure is low.

There are three gas models to choose between including the Greenstar Ri Regular that can fit inside a kitchen cupboard, along with the Greenstar CDi Classic Regular that comes with multi-directional flue options. Then we have the floor-standing Greenstar FS CDi Regular with wheel-in tray and built-in operational status indicator.

Each model has a different price tag, ranging from £769.83 to £1,983.98. Obviously, the more sophisticated the model and the higher the output, the more the boiler will cost. You will get a standard 2 or 5-year warranty with these gas regular boilers as well.

Worcester Bosch Oil-Fired Boiler Range – Perfect for Homes off the Gas Grid

As many off-grid householders opt for oil boilers to heat their homes, Worcester Bosch has created a fine range of oil-fired combi, system and regular models for small, medium and large-sized properties. Each floor-standing (or floor mounted) model is A-rated for energy efficiency, and there are internal and external options available to suit different needs.

Price range from £2,256.00 to £2,727.00 and both models are supported by a 2-year warranty.

There are three Worcester Bosch oil system models, which come with a 2-year guarantee as standard. The Greenstar Danesmoor System and the Greenstar Danesmoor External System (for outdoor installation) are compatible with solar accessories, as is the Greenstar Danesmoor System Utility that can also be used with the EasyControl smart thermostat. If you want to get your hands on one of these oil system boilers, you’ll need to spend between £1,744.80 and £2,648.72.

When it comes to oil regular boilers by Worcester Bosch, you can go with either the Greenstar Danesmoor Regular, the Greenstar Danesmoor External Regular (must be installed outside), the Greenstar Utility Regular or the Greenstar Danesmoor Utility Regular. All four models include a 2-year warranty and are set up for use with Greenstore cylinders and Greenskies solar panels. 1. I’m in the first steps of looking at a new gas boiler. My house is 3 bedroom semi detached built in the late 1950s. Currently have an ancient Gloworm back boiler that I’m surprised is still working. There are 10 rads in the house, one is a double. 3 of the rads were added during extensions. There is an air vent in the dining room which in the cooler months allows freezing air to enter. (This is the room with the back boiler). In addition to all this, most of the rads in the house don’t really get warm, the boiler appears to run for at least two hours from start up before most of them start warming up.
I’ve been told a power flush may be needed??. Hopefully from this sorry tale, you may be able to give me a quote please. I don’t have a preference on the make of boiler, just something that fits the bill with some piece of mind, cheaper to run, and a warranty.

    2. Would appreciate a quote for the replacement of my 11year old Worcester Bosch Greenstar 28i junior boiler in my kitchen, in my 2 bedroomed semi-detached house.
