Chaffoteaux & Maury date back to 1914 and their current range offers a number of highly efficient condensing boilers.
Now part of the Ariston Thermo Group, this well established boiler firm continues to provide homes with innovative heating solutions. Its extensive boiler range includes condensing and low temperature boilers, heat pumps and solar thermal systems.
Chaffoteaux & Maury manufacture two types of boilers:
Chaffoteaux & Maury has a long pedigree of manufacturing some of the country’s finest boilers.
Combi Boilers are the most popular choice for new buyers, with over 50% of new boilers purchased falling into this bracket. They are ideal for small to medium sized properties. They produce hot water on demand and it does not need to be stored in a hot water cylinder for later use. Usually compact and modern in design, they are ideally suited to the modern property. Chaffoteaux & Maury have four different types of Combi Boilers:
- Calydra Green – SEDBUK A Rated
- Centora Green – SEDBUK A Rated
- Minima HE – SEDBUK D Rated
The main difference between the ranges is size, but all are SEDBUK A Band rated – the highest possible efficiency rating.
Conventional Boilers operate within a ‘standard’ heating system where the boiler periodically heats the water, which then gets stored in a hot water cylinder for later use. As well as a hot water cylinder, there is usually a cold water feed tank in the loft. Most systems in the UK are still conventional. Chaffoteaux & Maury produce two types of Conventional Boilers:
- Centora Green System – SEDBUK A Rated
- Minima HE System – SEDBUK A Rated
Band A in the SEDBUK scheme, the two Centora Green System boilers have outputs of 24kW and 30kW. The two Minima HE System boilers have outputs of 24kW and 30kW, and are both A banded SEDBUK.
